Renowned for his use of incorporating fine art, sculpture, museum-level American craft, and antiques sourced from top dealers around the world, and spanning centuries and continents, Bill Peace creates interiors that are curated, layered, and among the most sophisticated in the industry.

Peace Design has been recognized for their masterful interiors with both prestigious national awards and esteemed national press. In 2022 Peace Design won the Palladio Award for Residential Interiors, and the firm has won two awards from the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art including the 2023 Jacques Benedict Award for Commercial Interiors and the 2022 John Staub Award for Residential Interiors. The firm has won many ASID awards including the National ASID Project Award and the 2016 ASID Design Achievement Award. Bill Peace has also been recognized multiple times as the Southeast Designer of the Year by ADAC and Veranda.

Additionally, projects by Peace Design have been published in all major national publications including The World of Interiors, The Mansion Global in Wall Street Journal, Architectural Digest, Departures, Western Art & Architecture, Mountain Living, Big Sky Journal, Western Home Journal, and many others.

Bill Peace is committed to the education of design and he has served on the Board of Trustees for the Smithsonian-affiliated Museum of Design as well as the Advisory Board for the College of Design at the University of Kentucky.
