With features published in a wide range of esteemed publications including AD, Elle Decor, LUXE, Mountain Living, The Wall Street Journal, The Robb Report, Big Sky Journal, and others, photographer Whitney Kamman is an expert in architecture and interiors photography.
Whitney has been awarded by the American Institute of Architects from both the New England and Montana Chapters, as well as by esteemed organizations such as National Geographic, Johnson & Johnson, and others. Her work appears in three chapters of Peace in the West: The Rustic Luxury Interiors of William Peace, as well as the cinematographic rear cover photo.
In July 2026, she launched “Architectural Photography with Whitney Kamman;” a six-module series that covers every aspect of architectural and interior design photography, from the first equipment considerations to lighting, styling, angles, and all aspects of the process, to the final editing. Whitney previously taught at Montana State University and The Rocky Mountain School of Photography, and her skillful delivery has made her in demand as a teacher. It’s a course designed for everyone – from novice to professionals – to understand how the camera “sees” a room and how to create a beautiful photograph.
Whitney is an intrepid and inveterate traveler, whether with her family or friends, and her camera is always in hand as she documents and tells the stories of houses near and far.
