Blooms and Blossoms! Margot Shaw founded FLOWER magazine almost twenty years ago and it’s never stopped blooming. Today Margot Shaw oversees the Flower brand that includes the magazine, an annual show house, and two books.
Published six times each year, FLOWER magazine is a national resource for those who revel in the gifts of a garden – whether large or small; formal or rambling – as well as the houses and lifestyles that revolve around the seasonal influences of the natural world.
Margot has expanded her affinity for gardens and entertaining by creating an annual show house in which nationally renowned designers create elegant environments that remind us that the most beautiful rooms are complete when the flowers are placed and friends and family arrive.
In February 2026 Margot debuted her second book, Flowering Outdoors; Gardens and Parties. From garden landscapes and hardscape elements, to entertaining, to flower arranging, this book covers gardens and parties with some of the most talented people in the business.
